Great Anniversary Gift

Last night my wife and I were rushing from a sunset dinner to get across town to a movie, when I was pulled over for doing 50mph in a 35mph zone. I think I was actually doing 55mph. I avoided the $235 ticket by being as respectful and pleasant as possible and by weaving into the conversation that it was indeed our 14th anniversary. Are there any sweeter words from an officer of the law than "written warning?"

After pulling away from the officer s-l-o-w-l-y, we discussed how thankful we were that the evening didn't end with a huge slice of key lime pie that we shouldn't have ordered, followed by a $235 anniversary present we didn't want. So thank you, officer.
